Last updated: August 6, 2026
1. Introduction
CG Experts ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website cg-experts.com.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Information
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:
- Contact us via email or phone
- Submit a job application
- Request a quote
- Subscribe to our communications
This information may include: name, email address, phone number, company name, and any other information you choose to provide.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
This website does not run analytics or tracking scripts. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data when you request a page, which may include:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Pages requested and time of request
- Referring website
These logs are used solely for security, abuse prevention, and technical operation of the website.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide our services
- Process job applications
- Improve our website and services
- Communicate with you about our services
- Comply with legal obligations
3.1 Legal Bases (EU/EEA Visitors)
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — responding to inquiries, preparing quotes, processing job applications, and delivering services
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — operating and securing the website (e.g. server logs)
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — where you have expressly given it, e.g. for optional communications; consent can be withdrawn at any time
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — where retention or disclosure is required by law
4. Cookies and Tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. That is why you do not see a cookie banner here.
Some of our free browser tools (for example the timeline planner) store your settings in your browser's local storage. That data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
5. Third-Party Services
We keep third-party involvement to a minimum. All website assets (fonts, scripts, 3D libraries, images) are served from our own domain — no content delivery networks or font services receive your data when you browse this site. The following third parties may process personal data:
- Hosting provider — serves this website and keeps server logs (see Section 2.2)
- Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA) — only if you choose to book a call through our Calendly link; their privacy policy applies on their site
- Email provider — messages sent to our email addresses are processed by our email hosting provider
- ExchangeRate-API — our free Timeline tool fetches currency exchange rates from api.exchangerate-api.com when you use its currency feature, which transmits your IP address to that service
- OpenFreeMap — the office locations map on our homepage loads map tiles from tiles.openfreemap.org, a non-commercial OpenStreetMap tile service, which receives your IP address when the map loads; according to its operator, no logs are kept
We do not sell personal data and we do not use advertising networks.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
7. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (such as hosting, email, and scheduling) are located in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. These countries may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
Where we transfer personal data of EU/EEA residents to such countries, we take reasonable steps to protect it, including limiting the data we collect to the minimum necessary and using contractual protections with service providers where available. You can contact us at [email protected] for more information about how a specific transfer is protected.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Object to processing of your information
- Request restriction of processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected].
If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
